1. The use of carbon welding electrodes
The main use of carbon welding electrodes is the process of arc-air gouging and cutting. The essence of the process of cutting and gouging consists in partial melting of workpieces with electric arc while removing the melted material using compressed air.
The advantage of using carbon electrodes in a.n. process is elimination of such processing methods as chiselling, polishing, gouging and cutting with acetylene torch. The effect of using carbon electrodes is:
- the ease of the process
- high efficiency of the process
- reduced labor nuisance
- economics of the process
Processes in which the carbon electrodes are most relevant are:
- welding of steel, cast irons and nonferrous metals
- arc cutting and gouging
- removing of old seams, finishing treatment of the seams
- cleaning and repair of cast iron and non-ferrous metals
- under water metal cutting
2. The production process.
In order to enhance the intensity of electro-pneumatic process of cutting and gouging the carbon electrodes are coated with a layer of electrolytic copper. For customers with special current requirements there is a possibility of producing electrodes in special dimensions.
2. Range of offered electrodes:
- ESW -253 Welding electrodes non-copper, round or rectangle
- ESM - 257 Welding electrodes copper, round or rectangle
- ESC - 270 Welding electrodes copper for under water cutting, round with a hole
